If you need assistance to file your taxes and/or do not want to file your taxes on-line, you can get the help you need for FREE.
- Save Time, File Online. MyFreeTaxes offers free federal and PA tax filing. MyFreeTaxes if making less than $57,000. Click here for information on to how to File a Tax Return.
- The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, or VITA, provides IRS-trained volunteers to prepare and file tax returns for free. There are probably VITA sites in your community. With VITA, certified volunteers prepare returns at no cost for taxpayers of low to moderate income (generally $39,000 and below). - Senior Citizens also have a number of AARP sponsored free Tax-Aide preparation sites.
