Courtesy of the FJD’s Office of Court Compliance, please find attached new forms and an update on how to help your clients modify payment arrangements and/or get their payments deferred if they lost GA and have no income. Any defendant may seek a modification of their Payment Plan by submitting a Request for Miscellaneous Relief form, the Financial Information Form and related information.

Upon receipt, the OCC officers will either rule on the information supplied or will schedule a hearing. If you submit any requests on behalf of your clients, you will receive a copy of the disposition – by US mail or email to occ@courts.phila.gov. This new”in absentia” process will spare you and your client from needing to go to the CJC for a payment plan conference.

You’ll get a completed form emailed back to you documenting the new payment arrangements (or deferral).
