Philadelphia Pro Bono Citizenship Day is March 31.

The Pro Bono Citizenship Day, sponsored by the American Immigration Lawyers Association, will provide free immigration services to long-term lawful immigrants who do not have proper immigration documentation.

The Pro Bono Citizenship Day is usually held at the end of April, but the processing time with the Immigration Service takes between 6 to 10 months, depending on documentation and the numbers of applicants, so in an effort to allow more qualified individuals to vote- the event was moved up to March.

The Philadelphia chapter of the AILA will hold a series of free pre-Citizenship Day information sessions for the public throughout the city. For full schedule  of events and full article see: Immigrants Welcome Pro Bono Citizenship Day.
