CNN —  With 25 million visitors at last count, Google+ may well be the fastest-growing social network to launch thus far. What’s the big deal? Cashmore polled the Google+ community for answers to Google’s marketing conundrum, and 10 distinct differences emerged:

1. “Circles” model for organizing your contacts

2. Privacy- it’s easy to control which users can see each of your updates

3. Longer, more thoughtful posts

4. No ads- currently ad-free

5. Group video chat – switching from a text chat to a group video conversation takes a click

6. Farmville-free

7. Better photo sharing

8. Friendly staff

9. Less clutter- there’s nothing to distract you from the content

10. Integrated with Google products
